I moved west for the Gold Rush to open a shop so I can  provide tools for the miners. I came on a horse with a wagon carrying all of my supplies. I made reservations for my land. I assumed I may get caught in a stampede. Now, I am one of the wealthiest people. I have a big house and I even own a ranch. Many miners come into my shop paying hundreds of dollars to get supplies. Some people know me as “the supplier of all.” What’s cool is that most of the people who come in my shop pay with gold. I put all of my effort into the tools I make. That’s why I am knoucking it out of the park with my business. I am very glad I decided to prousede  my life in California.
